So, what is the female Libido?? And is it any different for men & women? That is the question that lots of people ask daily. This word was first used by Theresa Juncaj during the year of 1833, and ever since that time, it has become a well-know term that is used around the world. The explanation for libido is that, it is the desire for a person to have sex OR to explain a person’s sex drive. It might have a deeper meaning, but this is the easiest way to describe it.
The Libido drive in both men and women are virtually the same; But they can be influenced in many different ways. A person’s libido can be affected by both their physical, emotional or psychological self. Which means that even if a person’s testosterone drives their libido, they can also be affected by psychological & physiological aspects of themselves. Influences like fatigue, depression OR even that person’s self image can cause a loss or boost in their libido. And these are just a few examples of how one’s psyche can increase or lower the level of the Libido.. Also understood as the natural enhancement, which can be good or bad.
The hormonal changes that occur in a woman’s body, is one of the causes for increase OR decrease in libido. This lack of testosterone in a person’s body results in a huge libido drop. Women start to notice a sudden change in their desire to perform sexual acts when their hormones start to fluctuate ..examples of these times are during pregnancy or at menopause. But you can now find boosters / remedies for menopause through hormone replacement.. And in the case of after pregnancy, patience will help. Because in this case, the female hormones should eventually level out and get back to its normal state.
Low libido doesn’t only cause lack of sex drive. It can also affect the mental & physical health. If a woman’s libido is in lack or over drive,.. it could be the signal of other underlying problems. Which is the reason why, you should always discuss any libido problems you have, with your doctor.
